You are improving so much, CJ! You know, when my human saw that first photo of you she thought you were a calico - when she found out that orange was singed fur, she felt awful for you.
Hey wow, look i have whiskers!!! I didn't realize they were growing in so nicely! Yahoo!!! (Maybe i should pay more attention when I admiring myself in the mirror!)
I have what's referred to as "raccoon eyes" from the burns. Burns often get worse a day or 2 after the injury. Hence why the fur was there in the first picture but not a few days later. It essentially blistered and then fell off. It hurt then but doesn't bother me now. it does itch a little though so i paw at it occasionally especially when mom puts medicine on it.
CJ and Mum, it is so good to see the progress CJ is making. I hope you and Mum travel the road to recovery together and both heal and are happy again. (I reckon table jumping should be an Olympic sport - you would win gold!)

ReplyDeleteCJ, you look very handsome but what happened to the fur on your nose? I hope it's not too sore. And, yes, you have whiskers! Love you xoxo
